Bamboe

De bamboe behoort tot de grassen, is wintergroen en kan voor verschillende doeleinden gebruikt worden. Bamboe wordt vaak in twee soorten onderverdeeld, de woekerende en de niet-woekerende bamboe. Beide bamboetypen zijn geschikt als haagplant, maar de woekerende bamboe zal sneller groeien en een dichtere haag vormen.

Bamboe soorten

Bij een woekerende bamboe is het van belang om een goede wortelbescherming (rizoombeschermer) te gebruiken om het ‘wandelen’ door de tuin van de bamboe te voorkomen. Een voorbeeld van een niet-woekerende bamboe uit ons assortiment is de Fargesia rufa. Een woekerende bamboe die u kunt vinden in onze webshop is de Zwarte bamboe (Phyllostachys nigra).
